Why e-learning?

We decided to provide some of our training via e-learning (doing courses via an online tool like this one) for a number of reasons:

• It enables volunteers to do the training at a time that suits them best
• It is efficient - there aren't the costs of hiring venues, printing and posting training resources and travel
• We can provide a variety of activities to suit all learning styles such as video and quizzes
• Our volunteers are able to access all the resources they need in one place
